Our studio is Managed by Miss Alana, who also serves as our primary dance instructor. Alana is certified dance teacher with ADAPT and is capable of providing exams for the more dedicated dancers.

Our adult classes are led by our esteemed guest instructor Mrs, Marcella Borroero-Cruz, who hails from Colombia. Mrs. Marcella teaches a diverse array of latin classes, ranging from Belly dance to Rumba.

Ballet

An excellent foundation for all students, ballet serves as the basis for most dance forms. Ballet improves strength, posture, balance, control, and technique, making it necessary for all other forms of dance.

Jazz

Jazz is a fundamental dance form that complements all other dance forms. Emphasis is placed upon technique, flexibility, and building style through choreography.

Tap

Tap is a form of dance that focuses on coordination, timing, and rhythm. It is an expression of movement through sound, with deep-rooted cultural backgrounds.

Hip Hop

Hip Hop is rooted in street style and is a fast-paced, high-energy form of dance where the emphasis is on personal style. This class serves as a great complement to Jazz as it allows for more freedom of movement and expression of personality.

Stretch & Posture

Stretch & Posture is highly recommended for anyone. This class focuses on flexibility as well as the strength to support the body while maintaining posture.

Teenies

Teenies is an introduction to the world of dance. In this class, teens will learn basic jazz, tap, and ballet steps through fun and creative movement. It offers a wonderful opportunity for self-expression, coordination, and developing a sense of independence, as well as learning to take direction within a group setting.

Adult Class

Come explore the world of Latin dance with us. In every class, we delve into a new style of Latin dancing, from Belly Dance to Rumba and Salsa. This class is perfect for everyone, from beginners with no dance experience to advanced dancers. Join us and experience the joy of Latin dance!

Private Lessons

Available for all dance styles offered by Miss Alana, our private lessons are open to children who wish to compete in solo, duo, and trio categories, as well as those who want to make up for missed class time. Additionally, we provide services for fun husband and wife first dances and bridal party flash mobs

Highland

is a style that blends elements of Scottish folk dance with the conventions and discipline of ballet.

Lyrical

Lyrical dance is a highly interpretive and expressive form of movement where the dancer conveys the theme or lyrics of a song through their movements. Enrollment in Jazz and Ballet classes is a prerequisite for participating in Lyrical, as it draws upon techniques and elements from both styles to create its emotive and fluid choreography.

Acro

Acro is a style that combines the techniques of classical dance with acrobatic movements. This form of dance is highly athletic and features unique choreography. We incorporate gymnastics-like elements into our dances, creating dynamic and captivating performances.

Musical Theater

Musical Theater relies heavily on the knowledge of other styles of dance. It places a high focus on acting and musical interpretation, making it a multifaceted art form that blends dance, drama, and music seamlessly.

Local Artists

We offer a kind, professional network for artists. Inclusive support within the community, making art approachable but valued greatly. Making art with purpose while repurposing unused items into upcycled art.

Harlen Woodcraft – Harvey & Glenda Klassen

Harvey is originally from Saskatoon, Glenda from Moose Jaw. Back in 1982 Glenda took a woodworking course that turned into a business in small town Saskatchewan. Harvey has been working with wood and doing renovations for years.

After a few years in Alberta we came back to Caron, Saskatchewan where our workshop is today.

We love using exotic, live edge wood to create our unique pieces. We use reclaimed wood so the availability of exotic wood is more difficult to find today. Barn wood, teak roots, cedar, maple, larch, pine, even diamond willow are favourites. Every piece is ONE of a kind! Mankind today tends to strip individuality in exchange for mass production. Our philosophy is to change that. All our pieces are unique baring the soul of the wood, after all wood provides us with the air we breath and the shelter we live in!

We have been selling our products through trade shows, craft shows, and markets which is not feasible now due to the pandemic. Showcasing our products with Alana (our daughter) at Against the Grain Artisan Gallery & Tattoo is an exciting new venture for us!

Paintings by Jason Gillard

Jason Gillard is a local artist who paints mostly using modelling paste, newsprint & acrylics. Hes a self-taught artist from a creative & artistic family, who only picked up a brush after the age of 40! He finds painting to be a form of therapy, as well as, fun. Jason  takes joy in creating art for the everyday person & keeps his paintings priced extremely reasonable, as they generally are large!
The greatest compliment for him is when someone’s proud to hang his paintings on their wall. We hope you enjoy his Art as much as we do & as much as he enjoyed creating them!
